Avantax Advisory Services (AAS) offers investment advisory services to individuals, pension plans, and businesses. AAS's services are tailored to individual client needs and may be provided on a discretionary or non-discretionary basis. AAS utilizes various platforms and programs, including the Investment Management Solutions (IMS) Platform and Turnkey Asset Management Platforms (TAMPs). Many AAS advisors are also registered representatives of Avantax Investment Services (AIS) and/or licensed insurance agents with Avantax Insurance, creating potential conflicts of interest.
Fee Structure
Avantax Advisory Services (AAS) offers investment management through various programs like IMS Flex Choice Non-Wrap and IMS Fee-Based Annuity. Fees are negotiated between you and your advisor, subject to AAS's maximum annual Program Fee.
- IMS Flex Choice Non-Wrap: Up to 2.3% annually.
- IMS Fee-Based Annuity: Up to 3.0% annually.
The Program Fee is calculated on the Billable Account Value and billed quarterly in advance. The fee may be a flat or tiered annual percentage. All clients incur underlying investment expenses, clearing and custody fees, and trade execution costs.
