Timucuan Asset Management was established in 1988 and focuses on long-term capital growth through investments in outstanding businesses. Timucuan generally has authority to make investment decisions for clients, but clients can place restrictions on certain investments. Timucuan manages separate client accounts and private investment funds, targeting a concentrated portfolio of 12 to 18 businesses with a holding period of three to five years.
Fee Structure
Timucuan Asset Management charges a percentage of your portfolio each quarter, which works out to an annual fee.
For accounts greater than $5 million, Timucuan charges the greater of:
- A quarterly maintenance fee based on the amount of assets in the account
- A 10% quarterly performance fee (including both realized and unrealized gains and losses subject to a high-water mark).
