Needham Investment Management provides investment advice to pooled investment vehicles and registered investment companies. They do not tailor their advisory services to meet the individual needs of the underlying investors. Instead, they provide advice to each client portfolio based on its specific investment objectives and strategies. Needham primarily invests in common stock issued by companies based in the United States.
Fee Structure
Needham Investment Management charges an annual fee based on the value of the assets they manage.
For registered investment companies, the annual fee is 1.25% of the average daily net asset value, paid monthly.
For pooled investment vehicles, the annual fee is 1.00% of assets under management, paid quarterly or monthly in advance.
Clients that are pooled investment vehicles are also subject to a performance-based fee, ranging from 15% to 20% of returns. Some clients may not be subject to performance-based fees unless Needham achieves returns above a certain threshold. These fees are negotiable.
