Butterfly Equity is a private equity firm that manages investment funds focused on the North American food sector. Fee Structure
Butterfly Equity manages private equity funds and receives a management fee and carried interest. The management fee is generally 2.0% annually of aggregate investor capital commitments. Certain funds, including co-investment funds, may pay discounted or no management fees. The management fee may be reduced after a certain date. Butterfly also receives compensation for management and other services performed for portfolio companies, which may offset the management fees. Investors in the fund also bear certain expenses.
