Argos Global Advisors manages investments for privately offered investment funds. The management fee is calculated as a percentage of the fund's assets, typically between 1% and 2% annually, paid monthly in advance. For some funds, investors who don't meet the definition of "qualified clients" may be charged a higher management fee, up to 3% annually, instead of performance-based fees. Argos may reduce or waive the management fee at its discretion. Argos also generally receives a performance allocation equal to a percentage of the net income allocated to each investor for the year, but only to the extent net income allocated to that investor exceeds any cumulative losses that were allocated to that investor for earlier periods and that have not been recovered (a “high water mark”). The Performance Allocation is generally 15- 20% and is typically made at the end of each calendar year.
