Fee Structure
Kayne Anderson primarily manages investments through privately offered investment funds.
For redeemable funds, Kayne charges annual management fees of 0.5% to 1.5% of the fund's assets. They may also receive an incentive allocation of up to 20% of the fund's gains.
For closed-end funds, Kayne charges annual management fees of 1.0% to 1.75% of committed capital or invested capital. They also receive a carried interest of up to 20% of realized profits after a preferred return to investors.
