Family Wealth Architects does not directly manage investments or provide ongoing portfolio supervision. Instead, the firm refers clients to an independent investment manager, Anchor Capital Advisors. Family Wealth Architects receives a referral fee from Anchor Capital Advisors for clients who choose to use their services, which equals half of the fees paid by the client to Anchor Capital Advisors. Family Wealth Architects does not charge clients any direct fees for its referral services, nor does the firm impose a minimum portfolio size or minimum annual fee. Clients retain absolute discretion over whether to accept recommendations and maintain their accounts with the independent manager.
