Ridgeback Capital Management offers investment advice by buying and selling mutual funds and individual securities for clients. Ridgeback may also invest client funds through other investment advisors or money managers. Ridgeback offers access to mutual fund portfolios managed by Frontier Asset Management and stock portfolios managed by Smith Group. Ridgeback also provides miscellaneous investment advisory services, such as financial planning and investment selection. Ridgeback does not have discretionary authority over client assets it directly manages, but third-party managers do.
Ridgeback Capital Management's standard advisory fee is typically 1% of assets under management. If Ridgeback uses a sub-advisor, the sub-advisor's fee will be deducted from Ridgeback's fee. For example, if Ridgeback's fee is 1% and the sub-advisor's fee is 0.5%, the client pays 1% total, with each firm receiving 0.5%. Fees may vary and are subject to negotiation.
