Vanbarton Group offers investment advice focused solely on real estate. This includes direct ownership, joint ventures, preferred equity, debt instruments, and loan origination. Vanbarton manages accounts with the authority to make investment decisions, but clients can set restrictions on investment types and strategies. Vanbarton does not participate in bundled fee programs.
Fee Structure
Vanbarton Group's annual asset management fee is between 0.50% and 1.25% of the equity investment. In addition, Vanbarton, or an affiliate, typically earns a share of the profits after clients receive their initial investment back plus an annual return (typically between 8% and 10%). Vanbarton may also receive an acquisition fee (up to 1.0% of the total cost) for equity investments, and an origination fee (up to 0.75% of the total amount) for debt investments. A financing fee of up to 0.5% of the amount borrowed may also be charged for equity investments. Fees are negotiable.
