DBIA, LLC provides investment management services by placing client assets with outside asset management firms, sometimes receiving a solicitation fee for doing so. The registered investment advisor is currently closed to new clients and maintains only a single active account. DBIA does not handle day-to-day trading or portfolio implementation, which is left entirely to the third-party managers. Instead, DBIA meets with clients upon request to review the performance and merits of those outside managers. The leadership team consists of professionals who are also partners in separate certified public accountant firms, creating potential conflicts of interest when accounting services are recommended. DBIA does not take custody of client money, does not vote client proxies, and charges fees based on a percentage of the assets under management.
Fee Structure
