Benchmark Plus Management manages investments for private investment funds, using a fund-of-funds approach. This means Benchmark invests in other investment funds and managed accounts run by independent managers. Benchmark analyzes these sub-managers based on their strategy, competitive advantage, team, risk management, and performance. Benchmark does not tailor its advisory services to the individual needs of investors in the funds.
Benchmark Plus Management provides investment management services to private investment funds. Benchmark is compensated through a management fee ranging from 0.50% to 1% annually, calculated on the fund's net asset value. Benchmark also receives performance-based compensation annually, generally equal to 15% to 30% of each Fund’s net profits in excess of certain predefined benchmarks. The fees are generally not negotiable, though they may be waived or reduced for employees, family members, affiliates, and certain large or strategic investors.
