Titan Advisors provides investment management services to investment pools (Titan Funds) and separately managed accounts. The goal is consistent capital appreciation. Titan allocates capital among private investment vehicles, separate investment accounts (Portfolio Funds), and direct investments in publicly traded securities or select private investments. Portfolio Funds are managed by unaffiliated investment advisory firms and primarily invest in publicly traded equities, futures, and debt securities.
Titan Advisors is compensated through management fees and performance-based allocations or fees from certain clients.
For the Titan Funds, management fees generally range from 0.30% to 1.75% per year of the fund's net asset value. These fees are paid quarterly or monthly, usually in advance.
For Managed Accounts, management fees generally range from 0.50% to 1.00% per year of the account's net asset value. These fees are paid quarterly or monthly, usually in arrears.
Certain clients also pay a performance-based fee or allocation, typically at the end of each year, equal to a percentage of the net profits. This percentage is most frequently between 5% and 12.5% but may vary. Payment of performance-based fees is subject to a "high watermark," meaning no fee is paid until prior net losses have been offset by subsequent net profits.
