Saybrook's Funds invest in companies headquartered in the U.S. and Canada, targeting the business services, consumer, healthcare and manufacturing sectors. Investors in the Funds are generally qualified limited partners.
Saybrook Advisors manages investment funds and receives a management fee and a carried interest allocation as compensation. The management fee is generally 2% annually of aggregate capital commitments during the investment period, and 1.75% annually of contributed capital after the investment period, less returns of capital and write-downs to zero. The management fee is reduced by a percentage of certain fees earned by the General Partner. A carried interest allocation is also received, representing a percentage of realized profits.
