Beach Point Capital Management manages investments for privately offered partnerships, limited liability companies, and other investment vehicles, including collateralized loan obligations and private REITs, as well as separately managed accounts. Beach Point typically has the authority to make investment decisions for these accounts. As of December 31, 2024, Beach Point managed $19.0 billion in assets on a discretionary basis.
Beach Point's fees are based on the specific account and are detailed in the governing documents. Open-end funds typically pay management fees ranging from 0.50% to 1.50% of the fund's net asset value per year, paid monthly or quarterly. Closed-end funds have management fees during the investment period calculated quarterly as a fixed percentage, ranging from 1.50% to 1.75% per year, based on either contributed capital or the cost basis of the fund’s investments. Fees for managed accounts and single client funds are negotiated based on the scope of management, account size, and client needs. Beach Point may also receive performance-based compensation.
