Cook & Bynum Capital Management (CBCM) manages investments for various funds and separate accounts. CBCM's clients include private investment funds, a registered investment fund, and individual investment accounts. CBCM makes investment decisions based on its core investment criteria, which are informed by rigorous research. CBCM travels globally to learn about companies, their customers, and their operations.
Fee Structure
CBCM charges a percentage of assets under management to its funds and certain separate accounts.
For Cook & Bynum Emerging Markets Ex China, LP, the management fees are charged quarterly:
- 0.9% per year on the first $500 million invested
- 0.45% per year above $500 million.
CBCM may also be compensated through an incentive allocation based on the amount that Cook & Bynum Emerging Markets Ex China, LP exceeds a certain hurdle rate or high-water mark, depending on the class of interests held by an investor.
CBCM has the right to waive all or part of the management fees charged with respect to the Unregistered Funds, and does waive such management fees for certain investors, including investors who may be affiliates or employees of CBCM.
