GC Alternative Management (GCAM) is an investment advisor specializing in absolute return investment strategies. GCAM manages client accounts through three programs: the Investment Program, the Income Program, and the Trading Program. GCAM invests in liquid securities such as equities, bonds, preferred stocks, currencies, commodities, futures, and options. GCAM does not invest in subprime securities or with external fund managers. GCAM manages accounts on a non-discretionary basis, meaning all trades are discussed with clients before execution.
Fee Structure
GC Alternative Management (GCAM) offers three investment programs, each with a different focus and fee:
- Investment Program: 1.00% of your portfolio per year.
- Income Program: 0.30% of your portfolio per year.
- Trading Program: 1.00% of your portfolio per year.
Fees are negotiable for portfolios over $5,000,000 for the Investment and Trading Programs, and over $2,000,000 for the Income Program. These fees cover investment management, custody, and trade execution through Interactive Brokers, LLC. Some clients may also pay a performance-based fee.
