Financial planning includes discussing your financial and estate needs, analyzing your financial situation, and making specific recommendations. COFS manages investment portfolios using mutual funds, exchange traded funds (ETFs), and individual stocks and bonds. COFS uses a Core/Satellite structure as the foundation for its investment strategies.
Fee Structure
COFS manages investments for a fee based on a percentage of the value of your portfolio. The exact fee is specified in your agreement. The fee is deducted from your account quarterly. The range of fees is:
- $50,000 - $250,000: 1.00% - 1.75%
- $250,001 - $499,999: 0.85% - 1.60%
- $500,000 - $999,999: 0.65% - 1.40%
- $1,000,000 - $2,499,999: 0.40% - 1.15%

For annuity programs, the maximum flat fee ranges from up to 0.70% to up to 1.00% depending on the account value.
