Birch Capital Management (BCM) offers investment management on both discretionary and non-discretionary bases, as well as wealth management services, which include financial planning and investment management. BCM tailors its services to clients' specific goals, risk tolerance, and preferences. Investment recommendations depend on these factors. BCM may recommend alternative investments. In some instances, clients may ask BCM employees to act as trustees on certain accounts.

In certain circumstances clients may use a separate cash account for storing short-term funds. A fee of 0.25% may be charged on these portfolios as agreed upon between client and Advisor and calculated in a similar way as described above (without tiers). This cash account would not be aggregated with other longer-term investment portfolios in the tiered calculation described above but would be charged on a standalone basis apart from other assets.
