Fee Structure
Congruent Investment Partners manages investments for private investment funds and managed accounts.
For fund clients, the investment management fee is typically 1.50% annually, calculated quarterly in advance, based on capital commitments or equity capital invested, adjusted for equity distributions and credit impairments. Congruent also receives performance-based fees (carried interest) from the funds, generally limited to 20% of a fund's net profits over its life, after investors receive a preferred return. Some funds also bear asset management service costs, typically 0.10% annually, calculated quarterly in advance, based on capital commitments or equity capital invested, adjusted for equity distributions and credit impairments.
For managed account clients, management fees and performance-based fees are negotiated individually.
