Lime Rock Management LP manages investments in the energy industry through three types of private investment funds: Lime Rock Partners, Lime Rock Resources, and Lime Rock New Energy. These funds invest in energy companies, oil and natural gas properties, and companies facilitating the transition to a lower carbon economy. Lime Rock provides portfolio management and administrative services to these funds, with investment advice tailored to the funds themselves, not individual investors. Investors include large institutions, family trusts, and high net worth individuals.
Lime Rock manages private investment funds and receives compensation from fees based on a percentage of assets under management and carried interest allocations. The annual management fee generally ranges from 1.10% to 2.0% of committed capital until a specified date. Certain co-investment funds and continuation funds may pay less or no management fee. Lime Rock may also receive transaction fees, monitoring fees, and other similar advisory fees, a portion of which may be credited against future management fees.
