Fee Structure
GEM Investments manages investments for private investment funds and separately managed accounts. Fees are based on a percentage of assets under management, and some funds also have a carried interest component. The management fee for endowment-style funds is 0.60% per year. The management fee for the Growth Fund is either a flat rate or a reduced rate of 0.20% or 0.35% per year plus a special allocation. Access Funds have management fees based on aggregate capital commitments, with reduced rates after certain anniversaries. The LMF Fund has a management fee of 0.40% per year, and the STL Fund has a management fee of 0.10% per year, which is generally waived for investors in other GEM Funds.
