Prelude Capital Management is a specialized asset management firm that allocates assets to various third-party managers, some affiliated and some not. Prelude offers a strategy focused on direct investment opportunities in Asia. Prelude advises four fund structures. Investments are managed according to the fund's objectives and are not tailored to individual investor needs. Prelude does not currently advise separately managed accounts.
Fee Structure
Prelude Capital Management primarily manages investments for private funds, not individual investors. Fees vary depending on the fund and the class of interest.
For the Structured Funds, Prelude generally receives a management fee of 2.0% of the net asset value of each separate account or capital account held by an investor with respect to the Structured General Interests, paid quarterly in advance. This fee may be waived or reduced.
For the CPI Funds, Prelude generally receives a management fee of 1.5% of the net asset value of each separate account or capital account held by an investor with respect to the CPI Interests, paid quarterly in advance. This fee may be waived or reduced.
Prelude does not charge management fees with respect to the Asia Fund Interests held by investors at the Asia Feeder Fund level or at the Asia Master Fund level.
