Water Street Capital (WSC) is an investment advisory firm that manages investments for private pooled investment vehicles, also known as funds. WSC has full authority to make investment decisions for these funds, following the objectives and guidelines outlined in their offering documents. WSC's affiliate, WS Management, acts as the general partner for five domestic funds.
Fee Structure
Water Street Capital manages investments for private funds, charging a management fee based on the fund's net assets. For most funds, the fee is 1% per year, paid quarterly in advance. For investments made after January 3, 2006, in one of the funds, the fee is 2% per year, paid quarterly in advance. Additionally, WS Management receives an incentive allocation equal to 20% of the annual increase in the net asset value of each investor's capital account, subject to a high-water mark limitation.
