Essex Woodlands Management invests in healthcare companies, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and technology-enabled services. Essex Woodlands provides investment advice to private funds, identifying and evaluating investment opportunities, negotiating terms, managing investments, and achieving dispositions. Investment advice is provided directly to the Funds and not individually to the underlying limited partners in the Funds.
Fee Structure
Essex Woodlands Management does not provide investment management services directly to individuals. It manages investments for private funds. These funds pay Essex Woodlands Management a quarterly management fee based on a percentage of capital commitments. Essex Woodlands Management also receives performance-based carried interest.
