The firm manages investments based on client objectives documented in agreements and has full discretion over investment decisions. Tempered Investment Management does not participate in wrap fee programs.
Fee Structure
Tempered Investment Management Ltd. charges a management fee based on a percentage of the value of your portfolio. This fee ranges from 1.0% to 1.5% per year, depending on the level of administrative work performed by the firm. Fees are calculated monthly and paid quarterly. In addition to the management fee, the firm may also charge a performance-based fee, calculated annually, based on a percentage of the increase in your portfolio's value above a certain benchmark (high-water mark plus a 5% hurdle rate). This performance-based fee is generally 10% or 20%, depending on when the account was opened.
