Trinity Ventures provides investment advice to privately offered investment funds. The firm focuses on obtaining ownership in early-stage technology startup companies and completing financings in selected later-stage companies. Trinity Ventures does not take the specific circumstances of individual investors in the Funds into account in making investment decisions for the Fund.
Fee Structure
Trinity Ventures advises privately offered investment funds, and receives a management fee generally equal to a percentage of the total capital commitments to such Fund. The fee percentage generally starts at 1.0-2.5% annually and is then reduced upon occurrence of certain events. Trinity Ventures' affiliates also receive a share of capital gains on or capital appreciation of the assets of the applicable Funds.
