Encompass Capital provides investment management services on a discretionary basis to private pooled investment vehicles (Funds) and sub-advisory services to institutional investors. Encompass focuses on equity and equity-linked securities in energy, alternative energy, and related markets. The firm does not tailor advisory services to individual investors within the Funds. Encompass manages assets according to the governing documents of each Client Account.
Fee Structure
Encompass Capital manages investments for private investment funds and sub-advised accounts. The firm is paid a fixed management fee, calculated quarterly in advance, based on the fund's governing documents. The management fee is not negotiable. An affiliate may also receive a performance-based allocation of net profits. These fees are determined by the fund's governing documents.
