SCMC primarily invests in non-public companies, with senior personnel often serving on the boards of these companies. Investors are generally qualified purchasers or accredited investors.
Fee Structure
SCMC manages investments for private funds, not individual investors. The funds pay SCMC a management fee based on a percentage of investor capital commitments, ranging from 2.00% to 3.00% per year, paid quarterly in advance. Associate Funds pay 50% of the Main Fund's management fees. An affiliate of SCMC also receives a carried interest allocation of realized profits.
