Sidus Investment Management provides investment advice to private investment funds and a sub-advised private fund. Sidus seeks returns uncorrelated with broad equity markets by purchasing or shorting securities believed to be mispriced, primarily within the technology sector. Sidus does not tailor its advisory services to the individual needs of investors, nor does it accept investor-imposed investment restrictions, except for separately managed accounts with significant minimums.
Sidus Investment Management charges a management fee to each fund equal to 1% to 1.5% per year of the fund's net asset value. In addition, Sidus receives performance-based compensation equal to 20% per year of the net realized and unrealized appreciation with respect to each fund, subject to a loss carry-forward provision. Sidus may waive or reduce the management fee or the incentive allocation for certain investors.
