Fee Structure
Greystar Investment Group manages investments for private funds, charging fees based on the fund's structure.
- Closed-end Funds: Typically charge 1.5% annually of third-party investors' committed capital during the investment period. After that, the fee applies to contributed or invested capital.
- Open-end Funds: Typically charge an annual fee ranging from 0.80% to 1.10% of the net asset value of the investor's units, based on the size of the investor's commitment.
These fees may be paid from capital contributions, investment proceeds, or by redeeming fund equity units. Greystar may also receive performance-based compensation, generally not exceeding 20% of distributable capital, subject to certain hurdles and clawback provisions.
