Hillhouse Investment Management (HIM) provides investment advice to clients organized as privately-offered pooled investment vehicles or similar structures, and may also advise managed accounts. HIM's investment philosophy seeks long-term, risk-adjusted returns through bottom-up analysis and fundamental proprietary research. HIM primarily invests in equity and debt securities, but could invest in a wide range of securities and other financial instruments. HIM manages client accounts on a discretionary basis.
Hillhouse Investment Management's (HIM) clients typically compensate HIM based on asset management fees calculated as a percentage of the funded and unfunded capital commitments, or of a client’s assets under management. HIM generally deducts or charges asset management fees from client accounts on a quarterly basis, with rates individually agreed upon. HIM also receives performance-based fees/allocations, with rates and other terms being individually agreed to with the applicable client.
