Cherokee & Walker Management manages investments for its own investment funds, called Pooled Investment Vehicles (PIVs). These funds invest in areas like real estate and lending. Cherokee & Walker also manages co-funded capital for investors who put a significant amount of money (over $1 million) into these PIVs. Cherokee & Walker does not offer services to individual or institutional investors outside of these PIVs.
Fee Structure
Cherokee & Walker charges a management fee of 2% per year on the net unreturned capital contributed to the Pooled Investment Vehicles (PIVs). They also charge a 20% performance fee on distributed profits exceeding operating expenses and management fees. These fees are deducted directly from each PIV on a monthly or quarterly basis. Cherokee & Walker can also charge the same fees for managing co-funded capital of substantial PIV investors.
