Trivest Investment Advisors advises private investment partnerships, seeking long-term capital appreciation. Trivest identifies, evaluates, structures, and negotiates investments in founder-owned businesses. Post-acquisition, Trivest manages these companies and advises the partnerships on potential sales. Trivest focuses on manufacturing, distribution, business services, healthcare, and consumer companies.
Trivest Investment Advisors does not provide investment advice to individual investors. They manage investments for private pooled investment vehicles (funds). As compensation for its services, Trivest Partners typically receives a management fee from each Fund. Generally, the management fee is based on a percentage of the aggregate capital commitments of the Fund’s third-party investors prior to the earliest of: (i) the expiration of a Fund’s commitment period, or (ii) the date on which capital contributions have been fully drawn down. Thereafter, the management fee is generally based on a particular Fund’s aggregate invested capital. Although the terms of the management fee vary among Funds, they are typically 2.0% per annum of committed or invested capital, as applicable.
