Rock Island Capital (RIC) is a private equity firm that invests in lower middle market companies, typically in the manufacturing, distribution, and service sectors in the US and Canada. RIC manages private funds, investing in both majority and minority equity positions. RIC identifies and evaluates investment opportunities, negotiates terms, manages investments, and seeks dispositions. RIC does not tailor its advisory services to the individual needs of limited partners in its Funds.
Fee Structure
Rock Island Capital manages private equity funds. Limited partners in the SPVs do not pay management fees. Fund I no longer pays management fees. Fund II pays a quarterly management fee in advance, initially calculated at 2.5% per year of aggregate limited partner capital commitments, less 50% of any portfolio company renumeration. Fund III and Fund IV management fees are calculated with respect to each limited partner and payable quarterly in advance, at 2.25% and 2% respectively, per year of the capital commitment of such limited partner.
