Hamilton Robinson manages private equity funds (Fund IV and Fund V) that invest in privately held manufacturing, distribution, and service-based businesses with revenues typically between $25 million and $200 million. Hamilton Robinson proactively sources potential transactions and provides active, operational oversight to each business. The firm's goal is to generate superior returns derived from earnings growth, cash flow, and multiple expansion, while employing conservative amounts of financial leverage.
Hamilton Robinson manages private equity funds and receives a management fee and a performance-based fee (carry). Fund V has a management fee of 2% of capital commitments, which may be reduced to 2% of Net Invested Capital. Hamilton Robinson may waive the management fee and contribute the amount to Fund V instead. The Funds pay Hamilton Robinson 20% of profits, subject to a priority return for investors. Fees for related services performed for portfolio companies may also be received. Co-investment vehicles may also have varied fees that are negotiated by Hamilton Robinson.
