The Salient Zarvona Energy Fund GP, L.P. manages private equity funds that acquire, develop, operate, and sell oil and gas interests. The firm serves as the fund manager for private, closed-end investment funds. These funds receive capital commitments from investors, which are then used to invest directly in U.S. onshore oil and gas assets.
Fee Structure
The Salient Zarvona Energy Fund GP, L.P. charges management fees to each fund for fund management and investment advisory services. These fees are payable quarterly in advance.
Management fees for Fund I were 2.00% of Capital Commitments during the investment period and 2.00% of adjusted investment capital thereafter. Effective January 1, 2020, the Firm reduced management fees for Fund I to 0%. Management fees for Fund II-A and Fund II-B during the investment period are the lesser of (i) 1.00% of Capital Commitments plus 1.00% of Capital Contributions invested and (ii) 2.00% of Capital Commitments. After the investment period, Management Fees are 2.00% of Capital Contributions invested. Limited Partners of the Funds who are employees of Zarvona Energy or Salient Partners have reduced Management Fees of 0.25% of Capital Commitments during the investment period and 0.25% of Capital Contributions invested after the investment period. Management fees for Chalk II-4 Co-Invest are 1.00% of Capital Commitments.
