Pillar Capital Management Limited manages investments related to catastrophe risk for its clients, which are privately offered pooled investment vehicles. Pillar Capital invests in securities and financial instruments linked to catastrophic events and other property insurance risks, such as reinsurance arrangements, catastrophe bonds, and industry loss warranties. Pillar Capital does not tailor its advisory services to the individual needs of investors, but rather to the investment mandates of the Funds.
Pillar Capital manages investments for pooled investment vehicles and charges a management fee based on a percentage of the fund's net assets. The annual management fee varies from 0% to 2% of net assets. Pillar Capital also receives an incentive allocation based on a percentage of the appreciation in excess of a specified hurdle rate, up to 22.5% annually, depending on the fund, client, or investor involved.
