Coltrane Asset Management is an alternative asset management firm based in New York City. Coltrane manages pooled investment vehicles (funds) with the primary objective of maximizing absolute returns with a focus on long-term compounding. Coltrane employs a value-oriented investment strategy, primarily investing in equities but also opportunistically in credit, with a focus on European securities but also investing globally. Coltrane does not tailor its advice to the investment objectives of individual investors in the Funds.
Fee Structure
Coltrane Asset Management manages pooled investment funds and receives management fees and incentive compensation (a percentage of profits) as described in each fund's offering documents. These fees are not negotiable, however, Coltrane has the authority to reduce or waive fees at its discretion. Coltrane does not provide investment advisory services to clients apart from its management of the Funds.
