Zimmer Partners provides investment management services on a discretionary basis to commingled private investment funds intended for institutional investors and other sophisticated investors. Zimmer also provides investment advice to managed accounts of an insurance company's holding company and one of its subsidiaries, which invests primarily in fixed income investments.
Fee Structure
Zimmer Partners manages investments for private funds and managed accounts.
For the private funds, Zimmer charges a management fee of 1.5% to 2.0% per year, calculated and paid quarterly in advance. Zimmer may also receive performance-based compensation.
For the managed accounts, Zimmer charges a management fee of 0.05% to 0.20% per year, calculated and paid quarterly in arrears. The managed accounts are not subject to performance-based compensation.
