Sio Capital Management provides investment advice to private investment funds and separately managed accounts for institutional clients. Sio's investment approach focuses on a global, healthcare-focused portfolio with a value orientation, emphasizing balance sheet quality and cash flow generation. Sio looks for catalysts to identify good short investments. Sio does not provide investment advice to individual investors in the Funds and SMAs.
Fee Structure
Sio Capital Management charges a management fee based on the value of the investment. The management fee is 1.5% annually, calculated and payable quarterly. For separately managed accounts, the fee is calculated in arrears. Sio also charges a performance-based fee, generally 20% of the account's profits above a high-water mark. Sio offers an alternate fee structure to investors that consists of a higher performance fee and no management fee. Under this fee structure, investors would not be charged a management fee and would instead pay an annual performance fee of 30% on a gross return between 0% and 10% and an annual performance fee of 40% on the portion of the gross return that exceeds 10%.
