Tracker Research LLC manages a private investment fund and charges fees in two parts:
- Management Fee: Typically 0.5% quarterly (2% annually) of each investor's capital account, paid in advance. Non-qualified clients may be charged a higher 3% annual management fee instead of the performance allocation.
- Performance Allocation: Generally 20% of the net income allocated to each investor for the year, but only if the net income exceeds any cumulative losses from earlier periods. This is typically taken at the end of each calendar year and only charged to qualified clients.
