The firm manages these funds with discretionary trading authority, but does not tailor its advisory services to the individual needs of any particular investor. Fee Structure
Meson Capital manages investments for private funds. Fees vary depending on whether the fund employs a hedge fund or private equity strategy.
For hedge fund strategies, there is a monthly management fee equal to 1/12 of 1.00% of the capital account balances (approximately 1.0% per year). In addition, the firm receives a performance allocation equal to 25% of profits above a 6% annual hurdle.
For private equity strategies, the firm receives an annual management fee calculated at the annual rate of 2.0% during the lock-up period or the term, based on the value of each limited partner's total commitment. For other funds employing a private equity strategy, the firm receives an allocation, generally annually, calculated at the annual rate of 1.50% of each limited partner's capital account during the lock-up period.
