Sound Mark Partners provides investment and asset management services primarily related to debt-related investments in commercial real estate. They work with private investment funds, managed accounts, and third-party funds as a sub-advisor. Sound Mark identifies and evaluates investment opportunities, negotiates investments, manages and monitors investments, and achieves dispositions for such investments. As of December 31, 2024, Sound Mark managed approximately $315.3 million in client assets on a discretionary basis.
Fee Structure
Sound Mark Partners does not have a set fee schedule. Fees are negotiated with each client. They generally receive a management fee, which is a percentage of the value of the assets under management or invested capital, and a performance-based fee. Investors in the Horizons Fund pay a management fee that ranges from 1.25% to 1.5% of the invested capital. The management fee is payable quarterly in arrears until the final distribution of the Horizon Fund’s assets. Managed account fees are negotiated and based on the value of assets under management or invested capital, and are generally accrued and paid monthly or quarterly.
