Sequel Holdings provides investment management and portfolio management services to affiliated private equity funds. These funds primarily invest in small to medium-sized middle market companies, particularly in the food and beverage and agribusiness sectors. Sequel's advice aligns with the investment objectives outlined in each fund's governing documents. Sequel does not manage investments for individual investors.
Fee Structure
Sequel Holdings manages investments for its affiliated private equity funds. In consideration of these services, Sequel and/or its affiliates generally receive management fees and/or carried interest distributions. Management fees are typically a percentage of the aggregate capital commitment of each investor during the investment period, and then a percentage of the aggregate capital contributions made by each investor in respect of unrealized investments. Carried interest distributions are a percentage of profits derived from the disposition of investments, following a return of capital contributions and a preferred rate of return to investors.
