CoFunder Advisors, LLC (CFA) acts as the investment manager for a fund of funds (FOF) that invests in venture capital and private equity funds. CFA's parent company forms a subsidiary that serves as the general partner of the FOF. CFA communicates exclusively with investment advisors representing investors, not directly with the investors themselves. CFA may also act as a sub-advisor to other investment advisors.
Fee Structure
CoFunder Advisors receives a management fee for advising the fund of funds. This fee may vary, but will not exceed the lesser of 1% or 50% of the management fee charged by the underlying fund. The general partner of the fund of funds also receives carried interest, which will not exceed the lesser of 10% or 50% of the carried interest rate charged by the underlying fund.
