JECohen also offers financial planning services, covering areas like investment planning, retirement planning, personal savings, education savings, and insurance needs. JECohen serves as a legally required to act in your best interest to clients and seeks to mitigate potential conflicts of interest.
Fee Structure
JECohen & Co. offers three different investment management strategies, each with its own fee schedule.
Diversified Equity Income Strategy:
- 1.00% annually on the first $4,999,999 of your portfolio
- 0.75% annually on the portion of your portfolio between $5,000,000 and $9,999,999
- 0.50% annually on the portion of your portfolio exceeding $10,000,000
Capital Preservation Strategy (Municipal Bond Portfolio, Taxable Investors Only):
- $0.001 per transaction in the fixed income account, charged monthly.
Flagship Value (Accredited Investor):
- 2.00% annually on the first $4,999,999 of your portfolio
- 1.50% annually on the portion of your portfolio between $5,000,000 and $9,999,999
- 1.00% annually on the portion of your portfolio exceeding $10,000,000
Flagship Value (Non-Accredited Investor):
- 0.00% annually on the first $24,999 of your portfolio
- 1.00% annually on the portion of your portfolio between $25,000 and $49,999
- 1.50% annually on the portion of your portfolio between $50,000 and $99,999
- 2.00% annually on the portion of your portfolio between $100,000 and $999,999
- 1.50% annually on the portion of your portfolio between $1,000,000 and $9,999,999
- 1.00% annually on the portion of your portfolio exceeding $10,000,000
Clients don't pay any management fees if invested in JECohen Ventures SPV I LLC, which is the firms' only non-affiliated private fund. Clients will only pay a performance fee if the underlying venture capital investment goes successfully.
