WPG Advisory Group helps clients complete necessary paperwork, coordinates with the chosen money manager, provides ongoing service, and reviews quarterly statements. While WPG Advisory Group assists with determining financial objectives, retirement planning, tax planning, and insurance reviews, actual investment management is outsourced to the third-party managers. WPG Advisory Group's managing member also operates an independent insurance business, creating a potential conflict of interest regarding commission-based insurance products. The firm does not manage client assets directly and does not charge its own separate management fee beyond the shared portion of the third-party managers' fees.
