1315 Capital is a private equity investment firm that manages investments for pooled investment vehicles (Funds). These Funds invest in commercial stage healthcare companies. 1315 Capital serves as the general partner and manager of nine private funds. Investment advice is provided directly to each Fund, not to individual investors in the Funds. 1315 Capital does not participate in wrap fee programs.
Fee Structure
1315 Capital manages investments for private funds, not individual investors. The firm charges an annual management fee of 2% of total capital commitments during a fund's investment period. After the investment period, the management fee is 2% of the aggregate invested capital, less realized capital and plus un-called, reserved capital for follow-on investments, where applicable. The funds also allocate a portion of their investment profits (up to 20%) to their respective fund’s general partners.
