Fee Structure
Muddy Waters manages investments for pooled investment vehicles, not individual investors. The fees include a management fee and a performance-based incentive fee or allocation. The management fee for Short Activist Funds is 2.5% of the net asset value, while the Resources Fund pays 1.0%. At the end of each fiscal year, the General Partner receives an annual incentive allocation equal to 30% of the net profits. The SMA Clients pay an annual performance fee equal to 20% of the net profits.
