Skycatcher aims for long-term returns by investing in global equities, especially internet and software companies. They may also invest in private companies and other less liquid investments. Skycatcher conducts its own research to identify investment opportunities.
Fee Structure
Skycatcher manages investments for a private fund and separate accounts. Skycatcher receives a monthly management fee of 0.125% (1.5% annually) of the closing balance of each investor's account. This fee is calculated before any withdrawals or distributions. Side Pocket Investments are not subject to a management fee. Skycatcher may also receive a performance allocation of 20% of the net new profit in each account, but only if the net new profit exceeds an annualized rate of return of 6.5%. Any net capital appreciation attributable to Side Pocket Investments will be subject to a Performance Allocation of twenty-five percent (25%) with no Hurdle Rate.
